今日、ほしいかもウェブショップで人気が有るフレンステッドモビールズのコレクションを増えました！とても面白いデザインモビールを追加しました！
グッゲンハイム・ニューヨークというモビールです！
個人的にニューヨークが大好きですから、ブログでも今日紹介したいと思いました。

グッゲンハイム・ニューヨークというモビールは？

2011年12月より、ニューヨークのグッゲンハイム美術館との提携により作られた最新モビールの発売を開始致します。「グッゲンハイム美術館のモダニズム建築を反映し、かつ著名な建築家、フランク・ロイド・ライトを称え、さらに内部の美術品をモビールに反映するためには何が必要だったのでしょうか？」「完成までには大西洋を挟んだ3年間ものハードワークとイノベーションとたくさんの議論を要しました。モビールアーティストのオーレ・フレンステッドはデンマークからグッゲンハイムとニューヨークの風景を解釈し、美術館を摩天楼に抱かれたらせん状の真珠と考えたのです。」この新しいモビールは実物の建築のように非常にシンプルで、ライトのらせん状建築を、長方形のアネックス(新館)やNYの高層ビルと対照的に表現しています。またモビールの動きはビルとビルの窓を透過する光を変化させ、環状構造をうまく使って太陽光を透過し、自然に反射させます。

Today, we added a new mobile to our large Flensted Mobiles Collection!

The Guggenheim New York mobile (Picture above) is unique and the perfect representation of design and arts for the museum. Personally, I love New York and I wanted today to introduce you also on this blog this new item.

Introduction from Flensted homepage:

“This new mobile was developed in co-operation with the Guggenheim Museum NY. But what does it take to make a mobile that reflects the modernist architecture of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, pays tribute to its famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, and reflects the art inside? Well, it take almost three years of hard work, innovation and much discussion on both sides of the Atlantic. From his home in Denmark, mobile artist Ole Flensted worked to create his interpretation of the Guggenheim and the New York skyline. He sees the Guggenheim as "a spiralling pearl nestled amongst the skyscraper-high buildings".Like the actual architecture, the new mobile is spectacular in its simplicity, contrasting Frank Lloyd Wright's 1959 spiral with the rectangular shapes of its 1992 annexe and the surrounding skyscrapers. This new Guggenheim Mobile not only explores the architecture but, as with all Flensted Mobiles, also allows the shapes to move and change. Movement allows light, seen through the tens of tiny windows in each of the buildings, to change in a similar way to the building itself, which ingeniously used its circular structure to allow sunlight to filter through and reflect light naturally: a wonderful way to view art!
