北欧の食事 - Scandinavian Table

おはようございます。

フランス人ですから、ライフスタイルについて、私は食事とテーブルコーデイネートに一番興味がありました。フランス語でArt de la tableという表現があります。フランス人の生活の中に、食事はとても大事です。だからフランスの料理（Gastronomie）は世界遺産になりました。食べ物だけじゃなくて、フランスの食事のしかたと文化も含めます。

だから買い物するたびに、テーブルクロスとテーブルウェアに興味が有ります（時々買います。。。）。それで、私は北欧の商品が好きです。北欧のデザインについて、二つのポイントが好きです。一つポイントはこのシンプルなデザインです。家族と友達フランスの家でいる気持ちが有って、暖かい気持ちもあります。例えば、ほしいかもで販売しているGEORG JENSEN DAMASKのキッチンタオルを見たら、キッチンで料理を作っている母を見る時間を思い出します。

二番目のポイントは北欧のブランドだから、もちろんデザインのセンスとおしゃれな商品が多いです！JACOB JENSENのPEARL SERIESや２５０年以上の伝統を持つデンマーク王室御用達テキスタイルブランドのGEORG JENSEN DAMASKのコレクションなど、本当におしゃれにユニークなデザインの商品です！

Good Morning Everybody!

The reason might be my nationality, but I have always been especially interested about the lifestyle around the table. In French, we say “Art de la table”. In the French life, the meals have always been really important and that’s why the French gastronomy has been named UNESCO World Heritage. Not only the French cuisine, it also includes the culture and our way to enjoy a meal.

When I go shopping, I always find time to check tablecloths or tableware (and sometimes buy…). The Scandinavian brands offer a lot of interesting and nice products. Personally, there are 2 points I like: the simple design with warm feelings which makes feel going back home with family and friends. For example, the Georg Jensen Damask kitchen towels remind me the time my mother was cooking in the kitchen… Such a long time in Japan, but with these cute items I really feel going back to my hometown…

The second point is naturally the design sense and the royal elegance of Scandinavian brands like the Pearl Series by Jacob Jensen or the collection from Georg Jensen Damask, purveyor of her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.

These 2 points really make Scandinavian tablecloths and tableware special and unique!
