Sorry for being late for this new post. We are the moment in the middle of the preparation for the Interior lifestyle Fair 2011 in Tokyo Big Sight! It is unfortunately not opened to the public but if you have an invitation, please visit our stand to find out more about Scandinavia design.

For year, we have chosen the theme of “Home”. I let you discover our booth during your visit. A really cute Scandinavian house, but I will not say more…

One year ago, It was my first time and really great. My work was to assist Trine Andersen who came with her husband from Denmark to introduce her design brand “Ferm Living”. Already one year… but they have been really successful around the world!

In Hosiikamo, we also offer their collection and the latest one was for the children: “Mr. Wise Guy”. In English, there is an expression “as wise as an owl”, it just means really wise.

A really cute collection for your child! Dancing with the owl cushion, dressing with the cute apron or falling asleep on the blanket when listening the owl music mobile with Brahm’s lullaby…

A brand recognized for her quality, design and elegance. Ms. Hama, talented professional table coordinator in Tokyo, has used their table clothes many times. I have introduced her work several times but I would like to take the chance to show some pictures of her work (above).

実は、来月、私の同僚は“Ihanat Muumit!”年に一度の特別企画ツアーに参加して、フィンランドに行きます! 皆さんはうらやましいですね！私も。。。

その８日間のツアーの時に、同僚はムーミンワールドというテーマパークやムーミン谷博物館、工場（ArabiaとFinlayson）ショップなど色々な面白い場所に行きます。

または小説「ムーミンパパ海へ行く」舞台になった島と作者トーベ・ヤンソンのテイールームも訪問します。

このツアーはムーミンと北欧が好きか発見したい人に素晴らしいですね!

私と同じく、北欧に行かなければ、心配しないで！

Summer is coming and everybody is starting thinking about his vacation.

Finland is beautiful country with his natural landscape, but it is also the home country of the Moomin family and Tove Jansson. Naturally it is possible to enjoy both, as my colleague will do actually next month! We all envy him, don’t we?

The special tour schedule includes a visit to Moomin world (theme park), museum, shop, factory (Arabia and Finlayson) and also unique places, such as seaside which inspired Tove Jansson for one her comics and a tea saloon she enjoyed.

Yes, it is a great trip for everybody who loves or wants to discover Moomin and Scandinavia!

Like me, if you stay in Japan, we still have plenty of opportunities to enjoy Moomin world. Around Japan, there are Moomin cafés and stores.

一ヶ月前世田谷美術館で浜先生の講演がありました。

浜先生のおしゃれなコーディネートを見る機会でした。

創造力とユニークなコーディネート才能を使って、

浜先生はテーブルコーディネートを教えました。

その時も、浜先生は私達の商品を作って貰って、嬉しかった。

Good afternoon everybody!

During the golden week, Ms. Hama, our friendly partner and elegant table coordinator, made me really happy by sending me a beautiful picture of a lily of the valley. It is actually my favorite flower and I love its perfume.

Talking about Ms. Hama, last month she organized a lesson to introduce her work and of course also her creativity and coordinate talents. One more time, she makes us really happy by using one of our items: a beautiful Georg Jensen Damask tablecloth. Danish fabric brand and Purveyor to her Majesty the Queen of Denmark, the company has a long history, quality and know-hows. Of course, we are always honored when our quality items are used by talented designer or coordinator.

ゴールデンウィークは楽しですか？

私は先週おススメした展示会に行きました。

アンネ・ヴァスコ＋福田利之　森

吉祥寺で有ります。セレクトショップと北欧の店が多いですね。

ギャラリーですが、陽気なので、最適だと思いました。

展示会はアンネ・ヴァスコの絵と子供用本とノートを見えます。

彼女のデザインはカラフルにとてもかわいです！

雰囲気はとてもフレンドリーでした。それで、アンネ・ヴァスコを会いました。

北欧のデザイナーを会う時、いつも同じ事言いますけど、

アンネ・ヴァスコも優しくとても良い人です。

フレンドリーですから、とても話しやすいでした。

彼女と話した時、彼女にデザインが熱情だという印象が有りました。

アンネ・ヴァスコの可愛い作品を見て、彼女の気持ちと創造力が豊かだと思いました。

日本で木曜日は子供の日ですね。それで、アンネ・ヴァスコの展示会に行って、ユニークな北欧と子供のデザインの経験はいかがですか？

Good morning everybody!

How is your Golden week?

Today I took time to go to the exhibition I recommended you last week:

Anne Vasko + Toshiyuki Fukuda  Metsa

Located in Kichijoji, a really nice area with select shop and also Scandinavian shops, the gallery was ideal: convivial and calm. The exhibition gives you the possibility to see her work: paintings, children books and notebooks.

The atmosphere was really friendly and I had the chance to talk with Anna Vasco. I had a nice time talking with her. As all the Scandinavian designers I have met, she is a really nice person: kind, friendly, smart… When talking with her, you can feel design is at first a passion for her. You can notice it also in her cute work: rich creativity and full of emotion!

In Japan, Thursday will be the day of the children, so what about a beautiful experience in the Scandinavian children world with Anne Vasco?
