皆さん

おはようございます。

私の友達はグリーンランドに行きました。

グリーンランドはデンマーク領だが、自治政府が置かれている。

デミという友達はインタビューを行った。

1-グリーンランドの一番きれいな事は？

私は、氷床に最も感動しました。氷床とは、ものすごい大きな氷の塊のことで、何千年もかけて氷河が溶けては氷り、作られたものです。ここでは、この氷河の織りなす音を毎日きくことができるのですが、素晴らしいの一言です。氷床の上を歩くこともできます。おそらく、一般的には、グリーンランドといえば、オーロラが有名でしょう。

2-寒さはどうでしたか?

   マイナス１５度からマイナス２０度くらいです。非常に乾燥しているので、体感温度は、それほど寒く感じません。観光客には、アザラシの皮でできた防寒具の貸出があります。私は、とにかく、重ね着をして、分厚いソックスを重ねてはき、手袋も二重につけました。日本のホッカイロは効きません。

3-あそこのライフスタイルはどうですか？見えましたか?

伝統的な生活を守る、地元の人々、つまりイヌイットは、昼間に鳥やアザラシ狩りへ出かけたり、氷の上で釣りをして生計をたてています。これは特に男性の役割です。彼らは、イグルーとよばれる、雪でできた家で暮らし、この家の中は非常に暖かいのです。現代、このような伝統的な家をみるのは困難ですが、私は博物館の展示でみることができました。

4-可愛いデザイン見つけました？

グリーンランドの町では、必ずカラフルなかわいい家をみかけます。積もった雪に、非常によく映え美しいです。それぞれの家の色には、意味があり、マーケットや病院、市庁舎など、人々が見分けやすくなっています。木造の家は、ノルウェーの建築に影響を受けています。

My friend, Demi went to Greenland. I interviewed her to share with you this unique experience.
Greenland is an autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark.

1-What was the most beautiful thing in Greenland for you?

It is Ice Cap. Ice cap is a tremendously huge ice block, which is made by glacier taking thousands of years. It only exists in Greenland and south pole. You can listen to the glacier is making a noise everyday. It’s just amazing. You can even walk on the Ice Cap in Greenland. But I think Greenland is famous for the northern lights in general.

2- How cold was it? How did you handle it?

It was about -20 to -15, but it is very dry so you don't feel that cold physically. For the tourists, they have rental service of clothing which is made by the skin of sea lion. I put on many cloths with doubled socks, doubled gloves on. Japanese hokairo didn't work...

3- How is the lifestyle for local people? Did you have the chance to see it?

Local people go for hunting birds and sea lions or fishing on ice especially men do.

They live in the igloo (traditional house made by snow) and they know how to warm inside the house. It is hard to see real traditional houses like this though we could see the old houses in the museum.

4- Could you find something with a cute design?

There are always colorful houses when you visit there. It is very stunning with covered snow.

Each color defines the facility of the village. Such as market, hospital, city center etc ...

the wooden houses are influenced by Norwegian architecture.

5- One word to describe Greenland?

Magnificent !!
