フィンランド・デザイン展 - Finnish Design 2017

現在福岡にて開催されている、全国巡回展フィンランド・デザイン展の図録を入手しました。

このイベントは、2017年のフィンランド独立100周年を記念して開催されている展覧会です。
今や世界中で注目されているフィンランドデザイン。

有名ブランドやデザイナーの歴史や背景と合わせて、森と湖が豊かな国フィンランドの歴史や文化がいかにしてフィンランドデザインやデザイナー自身の物語に影響しているのかなど、興味深く、初めて知る情報がたくさんつめこまれた贅沢な図録です。

ここには、ほしいかもでもおなじみのデザイナー、ムーミンの生みの親トーベ・ヤンソンをはじめ、フィンランドデザインの巨匠エーロ・アールニオや今後のフィンランドデザインを担う人気デザイナーハッリ・コスキネンなども紹介されています。

To celebrate Finnish 100th anniversary of the independence in 2017, a round exhibition is held in Japan about "Finnish design" started from this January in Fukuoka.

By reading the catalogue for this event, we can learn the history and background of the popular and familiar brands and designers, as well as the impact of Finnish culture or history on their products/design.
There are so many interesting stories and information to know about.

The exhibition lasts for a year in total, going around Fukuoka, Aichi, Fukui, Tokyo and Miyagi prefectures.
