In Demark, there is a very popular TV drama series named “Borgen”, which deals with politics. The story starts with the election of Birgitte as prime Minister of Denmark. It has been very successful and now the series is broadcasted around the world from Scandinavia to South of Europe and the USA and even in South Korea. 1月1日、日本で山か海岸に行って、初日の出を見るという慣習が好きです。その気持ちで、今日、2013年の最初のポストですから、北欧のきれいな日の出を見せたいと思いました。下記はデンマークの海岸で見た朝の太陽です。海の上に太陽が雲から出ていたので、とてもきれいでした。

In Japan, there is a very nice tradition for the first day of the year: people go to the mountains or the coast in order to see the first sunrise of the year. We call it “Hatsuhinode”. Japanese people pay a lot of attention to the first time of the year things are done, from the first sunset to the first day at work. To follow this tradition, today, I would like to share a very nice morning sun taken in Denmark.
